This jumper dates from around 1968, the year Emanuel Ungaro launched his first pret a porter collection in his Paris boutique; the collection was called Parellele, and this item is labelled 'Emanuel Ungaro - Parellele - Paris'.
It's a skinny-rib knit with a round neck and long sleeves. In pure wool, the main colour is moss green, with amber-coloured neck, cuffs and flower detail at the neck(probably not best seen with red trousers - sorry!); this flower is simsilar to the Mary Quant daisy, I don't know whether this is significant.
It would have been an expensive item in its time, and this jumper has been well worn! However, it is still very wearable today, and completely different from anything currently available in the shops!
In generally good condition, there is one small, mended hole on the back; this is tiny, and really impossible to see when the jumper is in wear. Unstretched, approximate measurements are bust 35ins/89 cms, length from back of neck 23½ ins/59.5 cms.
